Critical Condition of Rural Road in Faturasa Village, Remexio Postu, Aileu Municipality
Dili, Timor-Leste – On April 1, 2023, a CNRT party consolidation event in Faturasa village, Remexio sub-district, Aileu municipality, took center stage after revealing the critical condition of the rural road in the area.
The severely damaged and impassable condition of the road has raised concerns, particularly for residents living around the area. Remexio Postu, located in Aileu municipality, is now faced with a serious transportation access challenge.
According to recent reports, the road leading to Faturasa village has suffered severe damage, and even some four-wheeled vehicles are having difficulty passing through. This situation creates a significant hindrance to the mobility of residents, transportation of goods, and economic activities in the region.
The CNRT party leader present at the consolidation event expressed concern about the state of the infrastructure. They emphasized the need for attention and swift action from the local government to repair the road to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents.
Local residents have also voiced their concerns, stating that four-wheeled vehicles face major difficulties, especially in adverse weather conditions. They hope the government will promptly intervene to restore the road and improve accessibility.
The Aileu municipality government is expected to give special attention to the requests and aspirations of residents regarding this road infrastructure. In facing this challenge, it is hoped that strategic steps will be taken to repair and enhance the quality of the road in the area.
